TrailingZero is software that helps online sellers identify sales-tax registrations they may be able to cancel and, where available, files zero-dollar returns during a wind-down. Free audits are available now; automated filing availability varies by state and plan, as described on the pricing page.
3. Not professional advice
TrailingZero is not a CPA, law firm, or registered tax agent, and nothing it provides is tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your own filings and registrations. Confirm decisions with the relevant tax authority or a qualified professional.
4. Accounts & acceptable use
Keep your login secure and provide accurate information. Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use it unlawfully.
5. Plans, billing & cancellation
Paid plans and any pass-through filing fees are described at checkout. You can cancel at any time per our refund & cancellation policy.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12 months] before the claim. We are not liable for tax penalties resulting from decisions you make.
